Beverly Blair

Beverly Blair began her art career as an artist blacksmith in the early 1990’s and has since been involved in many art forms such as pottery, acrylic, oil painting, and watercolor.  Her work has been showcased in various national publications such as The Anvils’s Ring and The Fabricator.  Her signature "Steel Magnolia" flower sculpture was featured at the National Ornamental and Miscellaneous Metal Association convention in 1997 in Alabama.  Inspired by her earlier works, she drew on her knowledge of structural and sculptural art form to add strength and grandeur to her paintings and ceramic pieces. Many of her works have been displayed at the Ashville Art Museum, Ohio Craft Museum, and the Contemporary Artifacts Gallery in Kentucky. More recently, she participated in a juried art show at Tribeca San Antonio, as well as showing her work in the "Honoring Women" art exhibit at Northwest Vista College and Fort Worth Community Center. Blair's work will be part of the upcoming exhibit "Nave Rainbow Corpse" at the Nave Museum in Victoria, Texas which opens November 21, 2019. The exhibit closes on January 12, 2020.

Today, Beverly's work continues to evolve.
