Sallie Stanley Carter
Sallie grew up in Houston, Texas and attended Sam Houston State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching. She taught World Cultures which allowed her to offer her experiences in the art world as part of the curriculum. Her love of art began at an early age with her travels to the great art museums and galleries throughout the United States and Europe.
"As a self taught artist, I am very thankful for the ability to create, as every step of the process brings me great joy. My artwork reflects subject matter from landscapes, where I focus mainly on my environment in the Texas Hill Country and Northern New Mexico, still life, abstracts, and stylized portraits.”
