Barbara Felix
While working on her BFA in graphic communication from
Texas State University in the early 1990s, Barbara Felix
discovered she had a talent for drawing. Her gift for selfexpression was later nurtured at the Honolulu Academy of Art and her vision was refined and affirmed at The Southwest School of Art. At SSA she received a Best in Show award in 2007, and a Certificate in Drawing, Painting and Printmaking in 2013.
Her exhibitions include Leeward Community College, Hawaii,
The Southwest School of Art, Los Auras Studios at the Blue Star
complex and GAGA exhibits at The Art Institute of San Antonio,
Gallery Nord, Rockport Center for the Arts, High Wire Arts
gallery, UT Health Science Center Department of Psychology
and Schreiner University.
