Priscilla Ferguson

Encouraged by her grandfather to draw, Priscilla Ferguson

decided early on to become a visual artist. Since the age of

six she has followed his advice. The most important influences

on her work have been several contemporary artists including

Vincent Valdez, Alex Rubio and landscape artist Bill Zaner.

Her favorite part of being an artist is losing herself in the

creation of each piece. Bringing an idea or visualization to life

on canvas or paper is enormously satisfying. Her work is all

about storytelling. As a narrative painter, pastel and charcoal artist, she focuses on intense and intimate imagery.

In Texas, Ferguson has participated in the New Braunfels Art League’s Wurstfest show; Aries Gallery, Houston Group show; Coffeehouse Group show, Houston; and The Southwest

School of Art student shows.
