Sandy Freeman
A Boerne, Texas, artist, Sandy Freeman’s love is painting
animal portraits. Her lifelong appreciation of all animals has
led to a desire to represent their endearing natures. Using bold color and a sense of humor, she captures the unique character and personality of her subject, whether it is horse, dog, cat or orangutan.
“Our value as human beings is related to the kindness with
which we treat the trusting creatures who so depend on us. It is my ultimate goal to impart appreciation, empathy, and more
compassion for our animal friends,” Freeman says.
Freeman’s portraits have been shown in galleries in Minnesota
and Texas.
