Trina Johansen Mattox
Like a crystal casting rainbows in the sun, Trina's journey in life has encompassed many facets. From artist to equestrian, from ecologist to yoga teacher, from mother to lifelong student. Trina studied Art at Utah State University and Art Center, California. She graduated with degrees in Ecological Science and Illustration. With any media she's working in, whether it be oils or acrylics, mixed media or jewelry, you can count on Trina's work grabbing your attention and making a statement. Her paintings come alive on the canvas with bold color, vividly created with wide brush strokes and palette knives. Trina loves working with an unusually bright color palette, transferring her passion for life onto the canvas.
