Virginia Lukefahr 

Virginia Lukefahr was raised in a Philadelphia-area family

with a strong artistic tradition. Lukefahr’s mother, Helen Pratt Nemir, instilled in her a passion for artistic beauty and creativity through visits to museums and in her everyday example.

 

After earning her BFA from Ohio Wesleyan University,

Lukefahr studied at Boston University School of Fine Arts.

She has an art education degree from Texas A&M University

at Corpus Christi, and taught art for nine years.

 

Lukefahr's work has been exhibited at The Galveston Art League, the Art Alliance in Clear Lake, and GAGA exhibitions at Schreiner University in Kerrville and High Wire Arts gallery in San Antonio. She had a solo exhibition at Brook Hollow Branch Library in San Antonio.
