Bibi Saidi
Watercolor is Bibi Saidi’s preferred medium, although she
does enjoy the occasional romp with acrylics. Playing with the
light, shapes and color, Saidi hopes her creative land- and
mind-scapes lead others to respect our amazing planet.
Saidi studies with Maggie Gillikin and Leslie Winakur, and
acknowledges that observation of other women artists’ work
is also an important influence.
She has participated in a number of Texas exhibitions, including the Seguin Art League, 2014; GAGA Exquisite Quilt, 2013; GAGA at Schreiner University, 2013; Texas Watercolor Society, Fall 2011; New Braunfels Art League ARToberfest, 2011-2014; and in Chautauqua, New York’s VACI Juried Show, 2010-2014. Her work is in Texas collections and can be found as well on the East and West coasts. She is represented by River’s Edge Gallery in Kerrville, Texas
